Well, it's looking like the spring real estate market is heating up early this year in Orangeville (much like the warm weather), as compared to February of 2023.
The number of sales and the number of homes listed is up, however, sale prices decreased by 4.47%.
The average sale price for a home in Orangeville decreased to $776,509 as compared to $812,808 in February 2023.
The average days on market decreased by 3 fewer days to 20 as compared to 23 in February 2023.
There were 59 homes listed in February 2024 as compared to 48 in February 2023.
Interest rates still remain the same and most likely won't drop until mid-summer.
I believe we will see more inventory hit the market in March, so we will see how the March market preforms compared to 2023.
