Summer is nearly here! And the springtime market has been a healthy one for home sales in the headwater region of Dufferin, Caledon, Erin and Orangeville.
Sales in the Headwaters remained pretty much the same in May, as it was in April. The big difference is the increase in inventory, which has eased the pressure on buyers who have much more selection now.
There were 534 homes for sale in the Headwaters at the end of May, the highest inventory we have seen since October of 2015! This in turn, has slowed some of the crazy sale prices we saw in February and March. The market is now more balanced and has cooled slightly, even though sales remain strong. Happy June!
